Thom smiled, scratching his ear. A sort of a sighy smile that is almost a chuckle. Jonny raised an eyebrow at him, turning his head sideways.
“What?”
“Nothing,” Thom said, turning away with the same smile on his face. Jonny shrugged and went back to looking over the old vinyl records. He was interrupted by the identical sighy smile and now he turned to look at Thom with a same sighy smile on his lips.
“Wha-at?”
“Nothing,” Thom emitted a full-scale chuckle now and Jonny rolled his eyes, returning to the task at hand.
Thom walked behind him, pressing his forehead against the spot between his sharp shoulder blades and circling his waist with his arms. Jonny’s green shirt dampened with his breath a little.
“Are we dating, Jonny?” Thom asked hugging him tighter.
“For the past 20 years, yes,” Jon said, running a hand through his hair and reading the record jacket.
“And we have a serious relationship?”
“Uh-huh,” Jon flipped the jacket to look at the front, frowning slightly, “A very serious relationship.”
“A very serious relationship,” Thom repeated, making his voice deeper and making a very serious facial expression. He giggled.
“And you seriously love me?” Thom then asked, turning his head and pressing his cheek against the same spot on Jonny’s back.
“Yes, I seriously love you,” Jonny put back the record and picked a different one as Thom started swaying slightly, smiling and sighing.
“You don’t look like you are dating me,” Thom said thoughtfully.
“How so?”
“I don’t know. I just looked at you and I had to double-check if you were mine. Then I thought, Oh, yeah. I thought I dated that bloke," ‘Twas a terrifying experience, really.”
At that Jonny cackled, rubbing his chin and putting back the record with a sigh.
“…And then I did a double-take at the thought of dating you, y’know.”
“Lots of doubles.”
“Well, it is a serious relationship.”
Jonny laughed, turning around and seizing Thom in his hands, smiling down at him.
“You know what I think sometimes when I see you?”
Thom shook his head vigorously, smiling up at him.
“Well, I think that you are breath-taking and that I would very much like to get to know you better. But then I remember that I know you already and…”
“…You become bored, because it is the same old me?”
“No,” Jonny kissed Thom on the lips lightly, “No, nothing like that. I think that it’s good, because I could just cut the flirting and beating around the bush and have you.”
“Ah,” Thom smiled, reaching up and kissing Jon’s throat quickly, “So it’s like I’m almost your eternal one-night stand?”
“In some cases, yes,” Jonny nodded, “On other cases you are my secret teenage crush, my wise and noble teacher, a drunken bloke I met at the pub…”
“What am I most of the times?”
“I s’ppose the love of my life.”
“Ah,” Thom smiled, delighted, “Seriously?”
“Seriously. Now I want to watch you take a double-take on that.”
“You have to repeat it.”
“You are the love of my life.”
“Oh,” Thom’s eyebrows crept up slowly, his mouth opening slightly. Then he frowned a bit, before a small shy smile spread on his lips, replaced by a huge Cheshire grin and half-closed eyes.
“Ahhh,” Jonny narrowed his eyes, shaking his hand in the air in disapproval, “Not your best performance. Seven out of ten, maybe.”
Thom laughed, closing his eyes and lifting his face up for Jonny to reach.
